Priority control configuration

When the amount keying page is accessed, a set of transactions is selected and sent to the keying operator. A set of processing rules, configured by an administrator, is used to select which transactions are sent to the operator. The processing rules are called the priority control configuration.

A priority control configuration is a set of criteria that
  • is defined by an authorized administrator using the Control Center
  • describes how transactions are selected from the transactions available to key
  • defines the order in which selected transactions are sent to the operators
  • specifies who is permitted to key the selected transactions
  • specifies which transactions are never displayed to an operator
There can be many priority control configurations, but only one can be active. The active priority control configuration is used each time a browser used by a keying operator issues a request for transactions to key. An Amount Keying administrator creates and saves the configurations and can also activate and deactivate them using the Control Center.
Note: Amount Keying supervisors can suspend operations by deactivating all of the defined priority control configurations. When no configuration is active, there are no rules for choosing transactions to send to operators.
