Actions

Note:
  • Some of the actions may not be available because they apply to columns that have been hidden using the show and hide columns page.
  • This page has actions that are subject to review using Approvals. If Approvals is enabled, the action is not performed and it is placed in a pending state until the required reviews are complete.
The actions available on this page are:
  • Help link opens the help page. This link is located in the upper right of the page.
  • Selection box selects the transmissions to work with. Use the selection box in the column header to select all the transmissions.
  • Save Layout button, which looks like a diskette, saves the current user preferences for this page.
  • Refresh button, which looks like a circular arrow, re-displays the list of records to show any new records and the updates made to existing records.
  • Column totals button, which looks like a calculator, causes the columns that support column totals to update their headers to display the aggregate total for all of the records in the column.
  • Perform Action icon opens the perform action dialog box to run actions for the selected records. This action is available only when FTM resolution actions are defined for the selected records. This dialog box is used to do the following actions.
    • Accept
    • Accept (without Revalidation)
    • Reject
    • Release
    • Refuse
    • Cancel Transmission
  • More > Preference > Apply (Session Only) menu option allows the user to keep the current page preferences for their entire user session.
  • More > Preference > Save Layout menu option saves any changes made to the column layout.
  • More > Preference > Restore Defaults menu option restores the page to its default column layout.
  • More > Preference > Show/Hide Columns menu option displays a page to select which columns are shown or hidden in the column layout.
  • Perform Action icon > Accept menu option performs re-validation and overrides the current condition of the selected transmission record. This action only works if the transmission is set to overrideable and the associated business day is still active. This action is subject to review using Approvals.
  • Perform Action icon > Accept (without Revalidation) menu option overrides the current condition without performing re-validation of the selected transmission record. This action only works if the transmission is set to overrideable. This action is subject to review using Approvals.
  • Perform Action icon > Reject menu option overrides the current condition of the selected transmissions. This action only works if the transmissions are set to overrideable.
  • Perform Action icon > Release menu option performs re-validation and overrides the pending attribute of the selected transmissions. This action is subject to review using Approvals.
  • Perform Action icon > Refuse menu option overrides the pending attribute and the current condition of the selected transmissions. The condition of all of the batches that were reversed by the selected transmissions is set back to accepted. Also, the condition of all of the transactions that were returned by the selected transmissions is set back to accepted.
  • Perform Action icon > Cancel Transmission menu option initiates the unload of the selected transmission. For more information about unloading inbound transmissions, see Unload Inbound Transmission.
  • More > Actions > Lock menu option allows the user to lock the selected transmissions. This action is only available with Transaction Correction and Reconciliation.
  • More > Actions > Correct menu option allows the user to lock the selected transmissions for correction. This action is only available with Transaction Correction and Reconciliation.
  • More > Actions > Reconcile menu option allows the user to lock the selected transmissions for reconciliation. This action is only available if Transaction Correction and Reconciliation and AutoAdjust are installed.
  • More > Actions > Unlock menu option allows the user to unlock the selected transmissions. This action is only available with Transaction Correction and Reconciliation.
  • More > Actions > Add Comment menu option allows the user to add a comment and contact information to the selected transmission. This action is audited.
  • View details icon displays the transmission hierarchy page.
  • Batches / ICLs links are located in the columns that display the IDs of batches (ICLs). The links are underlined when they are active. An active link navigates to the batch / ICL summary page.
  • Transactions links are located in the columns that display the IDs of transactions. The links are underlined when they are active. An active link navigates to the transaction summary page for the inbound transactions.
  • Validation results links display the inbound transmission validation report page for the transmission. The links are located in the rejects and warnings and the total validation count columns.
