Gateway Server API

The Gateway Server is designed to:

• Work with Common Services to store image data and addenda records from incoming ANSI X9 transmissions.
• Work with Common Services to store data from FTM transmissions into the Common Services database tables.
• Work with the Common Services servers to route outbound ANSI X9 format image cash letters.
• Accept non-image ANSI X9 format files created by a third-party cash letter or return items system, and insert properly formatted image addendum records, using images stored in the Common Services environment, into the files. Then, create image ANSI X9 files for delivery to another financial institution.
• Work with Common Services to perform end of day processing and ensure that all transmissions have been fully processed through the system.
