Vetting Services page

The vetting services page lists all the vetting services that have been defined.

Columns

The columns that are available on the page are shown in the following table.
Table 1. Vetting services columns
Column Name Description
Selection control The first column is used to select one or more vetting services from the list. Selecting the box in the table header selects all of the vetting services in the list.
Vetting Service Name of the vetting service. Usually, it identifies the third-party service supported by the vetting service.
Service Description Description of this vetting service. It may describe the third-party service supported by this vetting service.
Presentment Vetted Field Displays the name of the database column corresponding to the presentment state that is updated when the third-party service finishes processing a unit of work
Presentment Reviewed Field Displays the name of the database column corresponding to the presentment state that is updated when an operator has finished reviewing the Vetting suspended transactions for a specific batch (ICL)
Payment Error Field Displays the name of the database column that is updated when an operator has finished reviewing a particular transaction
Alert Interval Displays the alert interval. Specifying an alert interval causes an alert to be generated when a third-party vetting service takes too long to respond that it has finished processing a unit of work. The alert interval is the maximum amount of time that a third-party vetting service has to respond after it has received a request to process a unit of work. If no alert interval is specified, alerts are not generated when a third-party vetting service is slow to respond to vetting processing requests. For more information about working with alerts, see Alert List Screens.

The alert interval is specified as a number of seconds, minutes, or hours.

Default Error Code The default error code. A vetting service can return any valid error code when it determines that a transaction requires further attention or it returns a no pay decision for a transaction. If the vetting service either returns an invalid error code or does not return an error code for one of these transaction, the default error code is used instead.
Queue Name The name of the queue that the Vetting engine uses to send requests to the vetting service.
Note: The Vetting queues must already be defined and the WebSphere® queue manager must be running when configuring vetting services.
