Service manager page

The service manager page shows basic information about work in progress. It displays the work or the processes that are being run for a specific business day or deposit. It can also be used to manage process status based on business needs.

Columns

The columns that are available on the page are shown in the following table.

Column name or function Description
Selection control The first column is used to select one or more work-in-progress records from the list. Selecting the box in the table header selects all of the work-in-progress records in the list.
Business Day The processing date and category of this work-in-progress record. Business day is a combination of the site, business date, and category fields, which are separated by commas. The category can be used for separating work for the same business date. At the end of the business day, the status of that business day is shown in parentheses. A sample business day field looks like this: 0, 2025-05-21, 4 (Active).

Business days are defined by the customer and are created and maintained by the Transaction Server.

Type The work type of this work-in-progress record. For example,
  • ABSVCREQ (Messaging API message)
  • DUP (Duplicate Detect)
  • ICRE extract
  • MCRE extract
Description A detailed description of this work-in-progress record.
State The current processing state of this work-in-progress record. For example,
  • Pending
  • Complete
  • Error
  • Messaging
  • Messaging Error
Created Timestamp, in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), when this work-in-progress record was created.
Last Updated The timestamp, in UTC, when this work-in-progress record was last updated. The update can be a state change event or a restart of the work in progress processing.
Previous State The prior state of this work-in-progress record. This column is empty if no previous state exists.
Remarks The system-generated information about this work-in-progress record. The error description is displayed when the state is error.
UOW Type The unit of work type used to process the current work-in-progress record.
UOW Value The unit of work value that was used to process the current work-in-progress record. It is a link to one of the following higher-level summary pages:
  • Transmission
  • Batch / ICL
  • Segment
  • Transaction
  • Entry

Actions

Some actions can be applied to more than one record. Each work-in-progress record on the page has a selection box. After one or more records are selected, the available actions are shown by clicking the menu. When an action is selected, it is applied to every selected record.

The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
  • Open documentation opens the help page.
  • Filter column displays the build filter link that you can use to create a filter for the columns on the page.
  • Search entry field. Typing text in this field automatically filters the service manager records that are displayed in the table. The table displays only those records that match what was typed in the search field.
  • Refresh updates the displayed service manager records.
  • Download CSV saves the displayed table view as a .csv file.
  • Customize columns displays a page to select which columns are shown or hidden on the service manager page.
  • Row settings configures the size and the spacing of the text that is displayed in the cells of the table.
  • Click a row in the table to display the service request details for that record.
  • A menu appears in the table header when you select one or more rows in the table.
  • Select all selects all the rows in the table.
  • Delete deletes the work-in-progress record if it is in either the complete or error state. This action is available only when the record is in the error or complete state.
  • Restart restarts the work-in-progress record if it is in either the complete or error state. This action is available only when the record is in the error or complete state.
  • Cancel closes the menu in the table header.
