Search Aliases page

When configuring a participant, the user can associate client identifiers with the participant. By default, the search aliases page displays all of the client identifiers that have been defined for all participants. Use the filtering options to search for the information for a specific client identifier, client type, or participant.

Columns

The columns that are available on the page are shown in the following table.

Column name Description
Client Identifer The client identifier associated with the participant ID
Client Type The type of the client identifier associated with the participant ID. Examples of the client type are ABA routing transit number or bank identifier code (BIC).
Participant ID Participant ID. The participant ID is a link to the participant details page for this participant.

Aliases Date

Use the aliases date filter option to view aliases at a specific date and time. Only aliases for active participant versions are displayed. The default value for the filter is the current date and time.

Filtering

The list of search aliases records can be filtered by the columns described in the following table.

Client Identifer String Client identifier Search pattern for the client identifier. Use the percent sign as a wildcard character. The pattern is case-sensitive.
Client Type String Selection list Select the type of client identifier from the list.
Participant ID String Participant ID Search pattern for the participant ID. Use the percent sign as a wildcard character. The pattern is case-sensitive.

Actions

The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
  • Query Filter supports combining multiple filters based on available columns and values. The operators and or or can be used to link multiple filters together. By default, the and operator will be used when creating additional filters. Only one column can be used for each specific filter query, but multiple queries can be linked together, enabling filtering across multiple columns simultaneously.
  • Participant ID link browses to the participant details page.
  • Open documentation displays the help page.
  • Filter column displays the build filter link that you can use to create a filter for the columns on the page.
  • Search entry field. Typing text in this field automatically filters the records that are displayed in the table. The table displays only those records that match what was typed in the search field.
  • Refresh redisplays the list of records to show any new records and the updates that are made to existing records.
  • Download CSV saves the displayed table view as a .csv file.
  • Customize columns displays a page to select which columns are shown or hidden on the page.
  • Row settings configures the size and the spacing of the text that is displayed in the cells of the table.
  • Create opens the Create Alias page dialog box.
  • Click a row in the table to display the details for that record.
  • A menu appears in the table header when you select one or more rows in the table.
  • Select all selects all the rows in the table.
  • Delete or Option > Delete deletes the selected records.
  • Cancel closes the menu in the table header.
  • Activate activates the changes for the participant.
  • Discard discards the changes for the participant.
