Processing Windows page
The processing windows page displays the processing windows that are defined. All the time fields that are displayed on the page are shown in the time zone that is specified in the Operational Time Zone property.
Columns
| Column name | Description |
|---|---|
| Selection control | The first column is used to select one or more processing windows from the list. Selecting the check mark in the table header selects all of the processing windows in the list. |
| Window name | The name of the processing window. |
| Business day category | The business day category that the processing window supports. To avoid having processing windows that
are more than 24 hours long for a category, the receipt cut-off day property does not allow both the next
business day and the prior business day values to be used for the same category. When you define
the receipt cut-off time and day property pairs for a processing window for a business day category, the
receipt cut-off day values must be used in a specific order, from earliest to latest. The order must still be
maintained when a receipt cut-off day value is used in more than one processing window for the category
|
| Status | The status of the processing window. It is either active or inactive. |
| Window type | The processing window type. It specifies which application, or applications, that the processing window
applies to. Valid values for this field are shown in the following list.
|
| Receipt cutoff day | Indicates how the date on which the receipt cut-off time occurs is calculated for the processing
window. It is specified as an offset from the business day that is being activated. Valid values for this
field are shown in the following list.
|
| Receipt cutoff time | The daily receipt-cut-off time for the processing window. An inbound transmission must be received by this time on the receipt cut-off day to be included in this processing window. |
| Distribution cutoff time | The daily distribution-cut-off time for the processing window. This time indicates when the building
process, assuming that all eligible work is included, is started for the outbound transmissions. The distribution time is interpreted as occurring after the receipt cut-off time and potentially, on the next day. |
| Delivery time | The daily delivery time at which outbound transmissions are late going to their receivers for this
processing window. The delivery time for a transmission is met when it is successfully placed on its routing
channel by this time. The delivery time is interpreted as occurring after the receipt cut-off time and potentially, on the next day. |
| Receivers can opt out | Indicates whether a receiver can opt out of processing windows with the following window types:
