Permissions page

The permissions page is used to display the permissions that are available for the Common Services components. It can also display the groups that are associated with each permission.

The page has the fields that are shown in the following list. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.
Component
Select the name of the component from the list.
Category
Select the category of the permissions to be displayed from the list.
Base Application
Select the base application name from the list. This field is available only for specific combinations of the component and category. You can copy the names of these permissions to use as an action in your Approvals Business Rules workflows. For more information, see Approvals review number workflow.

The permissions that are associated with the base application are generated only during installation. To migrate these permissions, you must export them and then import them into the new destination. When the name of a permission is changed, it creates a new permission and you must manually delete the old one.
