Notification of Change page

The notification of change page helps you to display and manage NOC records that are received and sent. The page displays a list of NOC records and the status of each record. The tabs that control the type of NOC records displayed are shown in the following list. These tabs are located before the list of records.
ODFI
Select this tab to display:
  • The incoming NOC records
  • NOC refusal records that are sent in response to NOC records that failed validation
RDFI
Select this tab to display:
  • The outgoing NOC records
  • NOC refusal records received for NOC records that failed validation at the ODFI

Columns

The columns that are available on the page are shown in the following table. The columns are the same for ODFI and RDFI.

Column name Description
Selection control Most of the NOC actions require you to select the records to process. The first column on the page is used to select one or more NOC records from the list. Selecting the box in the table header selects all the records in the list.
Status The status of this NOC record
Original Trace Number The trace number of the original, changed item. During a NOC refusal, the trace number is the original NOC record.
Originator Id Originator ID from the original transaction
Company Id Company ID from the original transaction
Message Standard Type of the transmission. For example, Nacha
Change Code The change code or the refused NOC reason code for this record. A description might also be displayed with the code.
Created Date and time the NOC record was created

Changed Data Information

When one of the records is selected by clicking any column except the selection column, the changed data information is displayed after the list of NOC records. The following information is displayed for the record selected:
Change Code
The change code or the refused NOC reason code for this record. It usually has a format of C##, where ## is a unique number that indicates the reason code.
Description
A description for the change code.
The information that is displayed for each attribute is shown in the following table. These attributes might need updating for the account.

Changed Data The attribute that needs to be changed. Account number, for example.
Original Value The original value of the attribute
Changed Value The new value to use for this attribute

Filtering

Use the filtering rules to locate NOC and NOC refusal records that are in a specific status or are for a specific account. Specify one or more filtering rules as necessary. The columns that are available for filtering the notification of change page are shown in the following table. The columns are the same for ODFI and RDFI.

ODFI tab actions

The actions that are available when the ODFI tab on the notification of change page is selected are shown in the following list.
  • Open documentation opens the help page.
  • Filter column displays the build filter link that you can use to create a filter for the columns on the page.
  • Search entry field. Typing text in this field automatically filters the records that are displayed in the table. The table displays only those records that match what was typed in the search field.
  • Refresh redisplays the list of records to show any new records and the updates that are made to existing records.
  • Download CSV saves the displayed table view as a .csv file.
  • Customize columns displays a page to select which columns are shown or hidden on the page.
  • Row settings configures the size and the spacing of the text that is displayed in the cells of the table.
  • Click a row in the table to display the details for that record.
  • A menu appears in the table header when you select one or more rows in the table.
  • Activate activates the selected NOC records.
  • Deactivate deactivates the selected NOC records.
  • Unmask shows the unencrypted Corrected account column.

RDFI tab actions

The actions that are available when the RDFI tab on the notification of change page is selected are shown in the following list.
  • Open documentation opens the help page.
  • Filter column displays the build filter link that you can use to create a filter for the columns on the page.
