Inbound Product Fields for Accounting

The inbound product pages are used to create, edit, or view an inbound product and associate available inbound services for use with that product.

Use the add product link in the upper right corner of the manage inbound products page to display the add pages. The view and edit pages are displayed using the View details icon to the left of the product. For more information about the inbound product pages, see Manage Inbound Products Page.

The following sections describe the fields that are specific for Accounting.

Fields (Step 1 of 2)

The fields are only visible if Accounting is installed and the user has the appropriate permissions:

Accounting Related
This section contains the following fields:
Enable Accounting
Determines if accounting entries should be generated for the inbound product.
Note: If this is set to no, the rest of the fields in the Accounting Related section cannot be changed.
Availability Type
Shows if the number of days until the funds are available (availability) is a fixed value or calculated for this inbound product. Select either fixed or calculated.
Availability
Determines the availability of funds based on the following:
  • If the Availability Type field is fixed, the Availability field defines the normal funds availability days that should be assigned to transactions for this inbound product.
  • If the Availability Type field is calculated, the Availability field defines the default funds availability days that should be assigned to transactions for this inbound product.
Availability Threshold Amount
This field is required if the Availability Type field is calculated. It defines the monetary threshold of the availability of the inbound product. Any transaction in the batch (ICL) whose value is less than this amount has its availability set to one.
