Holdover Properties

The holdover properties page contains the configured properties to determine holdover reasons.
Table 1. Holdover Properties
Property Description Default Example
Expected load time The amount of time, in seconds, a batch (ICL) takes to be ingested by Gateway. Transactions that take longer than the specified time are held over and assigned a holdover reason of excessive load time.
Note: Excessive load time is only assigned if the percentage of incoming batches (ICLs) held over is also exceeded.
1800 2000
Percent of incoming batches heldover Percentage of the transactions in the incoming batches (ICLs) that were held over. It is used with the expected load time property to determine if the reason a transaction is held over is due to excessive load time. 50 1 to 100
Expected repair time The amount of time, in seconds, a batch (ICL) takes to complete repair processing. Transactions that take longer than the specified time are held over and assigned a holdover reason of excessive repair time. 1800 2000
Expected distribution time The amount of time, in seconds, a batch (ICL) takes to be processed by Distribution. Transactions that take longer than the specified time are held over and assigned a holdover reason of excessive distribution time. 1800 2000
Maximum number of holdover work threads The maximum number of threads that are used to process work that was held over.
Note: Increasing this value requires WebSphere® Application Server configuration changes to support the additional threads. For information about the configuration changes, see Updating the WebSphere Application Server configuration to support additional Distribution processing threads.
10 50
Maximum holdover process time The amount of time, in seconds, that holdover is allowed to process without completing. If this time is exceeded, holdover fails. 7200
