Groups page

The page displays all of the groups that are defined. Authorized users can use the page to create, view, or update groups. They can also change the users and permissions that are assigned to existing groups.

Columns

The columns that are available on the page are shown in the following table.

Column name or function Description
Name Name of the group.
Description Description of the group.
Action control The last column is also used to display action icons for the specific group.

Actions

The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
  • Filter column displays the build filter link that you can use to create a filter for the columns on the page.
  • Create opens the Create Group dialog box to add a group.
  • Search entry field. Typing text in this field automatically filters the groups that are displayed in the table. The table displays only those groups that match what was typed in the search field.
  • Refresh updates the displayed groups.
  • Download CSV saves the displayed table view as a .csv file.
  • Customize columns displays a page to select which columns are shown or hidden on the groups page.
  • Row settings configures the size and the spacing of the text that is displayed in the cells of the table.
  • Click a row in the table to display the details for that record.
  • Options > Group membership opens the group membership dialog box. Use this dialog box to view or change the users that are associated with the group.
  • Options > Permissions assignments opens the permission assignment dialog box. Use this dialog box to view or change the permissions that are associated with the group.
  • Options > Group entitlement opens the group entitlement dialog box. Use this dialog box to view or change the entitlements that are associated with the group.
  • Open documentation opens the help page.
