Data Setup Utility

The data setup utility (DSU) is used to help manage the configuration data for a Common Services installation.

The DSU can be used to do the following things.
  • Import configuration data into the FTM database.
  • Export configuration data from the FTM database.
  • Delete configuration data from the FTM database.
  • Validate the configuration data before it is imported into the FTM database.

  • An overview of the utility.
  • Describes how to run the DSU command. This information includes any set up that is needed for the utility to run.
  • Describes how to configure the operation of the utility.
  • Describes the format of the workbooks and worksheets that are used by the utility.
  • Explains the logging function of the utility.
Note: Paths are shown with the Windows operating system directory separators. Make sure to use the directory separator that matches the operating system on which the DSU is running.
