Change Priority dialog box

The change priority action lets you control the order in which files, batches, and transactions are processed in FTM. By default, FTM assigns a processing priority. High-priority items (such as Real-Time Payments) run first, while lower-priority items (like next-day batches) wait. Sometimes you need to adjust priorities. For example, if a payment is stuck or a client requests urgent handling.

With the change priority action, you can quickly raise or lower an item’s priority.
  • Updating a file automatically updates all its batches and transactions.
  • Updating a batch automatically updates its transactions.
After you change the priority, FTM applies it immediately, and the item moves ahead in the workflow.
