Priority control configuration for Exceptions & Investigation
When you access the exceptions list page, a set of transactions is selected and sent to the operator. An
administrator can configure a set of processing rules. These processing rules are used to select the
transactions that are sent to the operator. The processing rules are called as the priority control
configuration.
A priority control configuration is a set of criteria that is defined by an authorized administrator by using the Control Center. The features of this configuration are shown in the following list.
- Describes how transactions are selected from the transactions that are available to operate.
- Defines the order in which the selected transactions are sent to the operators.
- Specifies who can operate the selected transactions.
- Specifies the transactions that are never displayed to an operator.
Many priority control configurations exist but only one can be active. The active priority control
configuration is used each time a browser that is used by an operator issues a request for transactions to
key. An operation supervisor can do the following actions.
- Create and save the configurations.
- Activate and deactivate the configurations by using the Control Center.
- Suspend operations by deactivating all the defined priority control configurations. When no configuration is active, no rules exist for choosing transactions to send to operators.
