Creating client-specific users and groups

An administrator creates groups and assigns permissions and users to them based on business needs. For example, a decision might be made to limit repair operators to using only the operator repair functions of Payment Repair. To implement this policy, the administrator takes the following steps:
  1. Creates a group that is named Repair Operators in Control Center.
  2. Assigns operator repair permissions to this new repair operators group.
  3. Adds the user IDs of the repair operators to this new repair operators group.
When a repair operator logs in to the Control Center, only the operator repair pages are available from the navigation tree. No other options are shown to this operator because they have only the operator repair permission.

Similar policies can be implemented by defining more groups and assigning permissions and users to them.
