Overview

Basic ITX integration is provided by the WTX Map node for WMB. A WMB integration flow is required for both inbound and outbound maps. These integration flows are supplied in the FTM Core WTX project included in the FXH_Core_Projects_WMB FTM Package. Note, it is possible to use ITX maps without these integration flows, however, those integration flows support the customization aspects and dynamic adjustment of the basic integration.

It is expected that some configuration or customization will be needed for most ITX Mappers used through FTM. While the business content mappings are usable as is, there is a definite requirement to customize aspects of the mapping. The most obvious customization reason needs are

Object subtype and class (since these are often used to drive FSM behavior)
Persistence data

For inbound mappers, full control over the SUBTYPE and OBJ_CLASS of all objects created by the mappers (transaction and batch records) is necessary and there is also a need to be able to override the same for the transmission records.

For outbound mappers, some data to couple FTM Object SUBTYPE and OBJ_CLASS to message types/elements may be required for some maps. For a given map, this information may or may not need to be passed into ITX.
