Identify Mappings

A core principle of FTM is that the implementation of the business process operates with the Internal Standard format (ISF) rather than the external formats. Having identified the message and interface types, it is easy to identify the mappings that are need for an FTM implementation. A mapping is needed for each inbound and outbound message format, as shown in the following table.
