Routing information
This part of the page displays the routing information for the physical transmission. The following fields
are displayed for all transmissions.
- Custom Descriptor
- The custom descriptor for this transmission. For inbound transmissions, this field displays the custom descriptor from the routing file. For outbound transmissions, it is the descriptor that was configured for the transmission.
- Connection
- The electronic connection that is associated with the transmission. That is, the value that is provided by
the
<connectionId>element in the route file. - Connection Channel
- The connection channel that was provided by the route file.
- Connection Node
- The connection node that was provided by the route file.
- Connection Owner
- The participant identifier that is being configured for the electronic connection
that is provided by the
<connectionId>element in the route file. - Test Indicator
- The field indicates whether the transmission is a test transmission or not.
- Routing Data
- When a routing file exists, this field displays the name of the file and a link to display the contents of the routing file.
The following fields are only displayed when the transmission is an inbound transmission:
- Customer Unique ID
- The unique identifier for the work flow for this transmission. The work flow ID from the routing file is displayed.
- Transmission Receipt Time
- The date and time that this transmission was accepted for processing. If a routing file for the
transmission exists and it has a timestamp in its
<transmissionReceiptTimeStamp>element, the value from the element in the routing file is displayed. Otherwise, the arrival date and time of the transmission is displayed. - Channel Name
- By default, the name of the channel that processed the transmission. But, if a route file name was
provided, either of the following options take precedence:
- The channel that is specified in the
<channelType>element in the route file. - The channel that is configured for the electronic connection that is specified in the
<connectionId>element in the route file. This value takes precedence if both<connectionId>and<channelType>are specified in the route file.

The following fields are only displayed when the transmission is an outbound transmission:
- Release Trigger
- This field indicates whether the transmission was built and released by a user or by the scheduler.
- Receiver Routing
- The routing number for the receiver.
- Immediate Destination Routing
- The routing number for the destination.
- Immediate Origin Routing
- The routing number for the immediate origin.
