Routing information

This part of the page displays the routing information for the physical transmission. The following fields are displayed for all transmissions.
Custom Descriptor
The custom descriptor for this transmission. For inbound transmissions, this field displays the custom descriptor from the routing file. For outbound transmissions, it is the descriptor that was configured for the transmission.
Connection
The electronic connection that is associated with the transmission. That is, the value that is provided by the <connectionId> element in the route file.
Connection Channel
The connection channel that was provided by the route file.
Connection Node
The connection node that was provided by the route file.
Connection Owner
The participant identifier that is being configured for the electronic connection that is provided by the <connectionId> element in the route file.
Test Indicator
The field indicates whether the transmission is a test transmission or not.
Routing Data
When a routing file exists, this field displays the name of the file and a link to display the contents of the routing file.
The following fields are only displayed when the transmission is an inbound transmission:
Customer Unique ID
The unique identifier for the work flow for this transmission. The work flow ID from the routing file is displayed.
Transmission Receipt Time
The date and time that this transmission was accepted for processing. If a routing file for the transmission exists and it has a timestamp in its <transmissionReceiptTimeStamp> element, the value from the element in the routing file is displayed. Otherwise, the arrival date and time of the transmission is displayed.
Channel Name
By default, the name of the channel that processed the transmission. But, if a route file name was provided, either of the following options take precedence:
  • The channel that is specified in the <channelType> element in the route file.
  • The channel that is configured for the electronic connection that is specified in the <connectionId> element in the route file. This value takes precedence if both <connectionId> and <channelType> are specified in the route file.
The following fields are only displayed when the transmission is an outbound transmission:
Release Trigger
This field indicates whether the transmission was built and released by a user or by the scheduler.
Receiver Routing
The routing number for the receiver.
Immediate Destination Routing
The routing number for the destination.
Immediate Origin Routing
The routing number for the immediate origin.
