UserFieldInterface methods

This user field interface defines the following methods.

setUserField(String ansUserField)

IQA user exits call this method to set the user field. This field is a string of ASCII alphanumeric or special characters. Its length can be up to 30 characters. This string is encoded as EBCDIC, along with the rest of the record, when creating the host transmission file. It is stored as ASCII in the FTM database.

getUserField()

Gateway Server calls this method to get the user field to place in the transmission file in the detail item record prefix.
