Manage Environments page

The manage environments page displays the Business Rules environments that have been defined.

Columns

The columns available on the manage environments page are shown in Table 1.

Column Name Description
Name Name of the environment
Description Describes the environment
Distribution Rule Validated Indicates if the distribution descriptor XML for the environment is valid. Business Rules Manager uses the distribution descriptor XML to determine how to distribute the rules to each different Business Rules Server.

Actions

The actions available on this page are:
  • Help link opens the help page. This link is located in the upper right of the page.
  • View environment icon displays the environment detail page, which shows additional information about the environment and allows the user to edit the environment.
  • Manage releases icon displays the manage releases page for the selected environment.
  • Delete icon deletes the environment. When an environment is deleted and the application is recycled, the permission for the deleted environment is automatically effective for other users. When using concurrent processes, the user must ensure that deleting the environment does not impact other processing.
