Standards and Compatibility

The Image Compliance service is compatible with many industry standards. It operates with standard image formats and provides its output in industry standard formats.

Supported image wrappers are:
  • TIFF wrapped images (conforming to TIFF Version 6.0)
  • IOCA wrapped images
  • JFIF-formatted JPEG images
Supported image compressions are:
  • CCITT G4 black and white compression
  • JPEG
Image Compliance produces the following:
  • Image View Analysis Records (type 54) that are in compliance with the Draft Standard for Trial Use X9.37-2003
  • Image View Analysis Records (type 54) that are in compliance with ANS Standard X9.100-180-2006
  • Image Test Summary Records (type 55) that are in compliance with ANS Standard X9.100-180-2006
  • Image Test Detail Records (type 56) that are in compliance with ANS Standard X9.100-180-2006

Image Compliance also validates TIFF images to the ANS Standard X9.100-181-2007.
