External events publishing

The sample application publishes various events that can be used for monitoring, for example by consuming them with an IBM® Business Monitor application such as the FTM dashboard. External events are classified as:

Summary events

Events that FTM sends periodically to provide summary information on a particular interface.

Milestone events

Events that report a milestone during processing of a business transaction.
