Installation

Before installing and configuring the Common Services sample dashboards, ensure that IBM® Cognos® Analytics and all of its prerequisites are installed. Refer to the IBM Cognos Analytics documentation in IBM Documentation for more information about the prerequisites for IBM Cognos Analytics.

In addition, the Common Services sample Cognos reports and dashboards require that the UDF functions for converting UTC time stamps be installed. For more information about installing the UDF functions, refer to the installation instructions for the operating system where the database is installed. The file with the installation instructions is found in the following directory: install_directory\shared\v409\pfs\Database\db2\operating system\doc.
