Trackable Service

The Gateway trackable service searches for expected event records. It uses the participant ID and transmission type ID of the transmission to find the records. The Participant ID and transmission type IDs may also be found in the RTE file. The participant and transmission type ID values from the RTE file overwrite the values from the transmission. When either the participant or the transmission type ID is not provided, the trackable service is ignored. If multiple expected event records are found, the record with the earliest expected date is selected and set to complete. The expected event name, source, and target of the matched record are updated when the expected event is set to complete.

Note: The participant ID is the origin routing number for inbound transmissions and the receiving point routing number for outbound transmissions.
