Simplified Transaction Processing

The ISF provides a common representation for data relating to the various transactions that are processed by a system built on the FTM framework. All transactions received from other systems are transformed to ISF from their source format, and all transactions sent to other systems are transformed from ISF to the target format. This simplifies the processing of transactions, as the process is isolated from the details of the external formats.
