Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) authentication
Unless this installation is to be used for development or test, use the internal file-based WebSphere® registry only temporarily. For a production installation, WebSphere Application Server must be reconfigured to use the production enterprise registry. Typically, this registry is a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) registry that contains all of the people who might need to access the components.
For more information about how to reconfigure WebSphere Application
Server to use an LDAP registry for
authentication, see the WebSphere Application
Server documentation.
Note: If a component is installed for production
use and not for development or test, change the default primary user ID from
fxhadmin to a
user ID in the production registry. Use the user ID of the user that is administering the WebSphere Application
Server. This user ID is also the primary user ID for the console. After installation, change either of the user IDs to other values, as required by the needs of the business.
