Batch / ICL rule set attributes
Batch (ICL) rule sets have the attributes that are described in the following list.
- Image Compliance Rule Name (IQA, TIFF, CDM)
- The name of a rule set that contains the image validation attribute configurations. The rule set name is passed to Image Compliance for validating the image.
- Batch / ICL Duplicate Check
- Checks if this batch (ICL) is a duplicate batch (ICL).
- Bundle Duplicate Check
- Checks if this segment is a duplicate segment.
- Batch / ICL Threshold minimum rejects
- The minimum number of segments that can be rejected before the batch (ICL) is also rejected. The batch
(ICL) is rejected if the number of segments that are rejected equals or exceeds this number. The segment can
be rejected for any reason, such as content validation, context validation, duplicate, or out of balance. For
the rejected segment to contribute to the threshold count, the error code that is returned for the segment
must be configured to be included in threshold counts.
If a value was entered for the batch (ICL) threshold minimum rejects and batch (ICL) threshold percentage rejects attributes, both conditions must be met to reject the batch (ICL).
Note: This option applies only when there are segments. - Batch / ICL Threshold percentage rejects
- The percentage of segments that can be rejected before the batch (ICL) is also rejected. The batch (ICL)
is rejected if the percentage of segments that are rejected equals or exceeds this number. The segment can be
rejected for any reason, such as content validation, context validation, duplicate, or out of balance. For the
rejected segment to contribute to the threshold count, the error code that is returned for the segment must be
configured to be included in threshold counts.
If a value was entered for the batch (ICL) threshold minimum rejects and batch (ICL) threshold percentage rejects attributes, both conditions must be met to reject the batch (ICL).
Notes:- This option applies only when there are segments.
- The total number of segments is known from the first pass.
- Batch / ICL Out of Balance Check
- Checks if the sum of the segment trailing records or items (if no segments) equals the batch (ICL) trailing record total. If they do not match, it is an error.
- Segment Threshold minimum rejects
- The minimum number of transactions that can be rejected before the segment is also rejected. The segment
is rejected if the number of transactions that are rejected equals or exceeds this number. The transaction can
be rejected for any reason, such as content validation or context validation. For the rejected transaction to
contribute to the threshold count, the error code that is returned for the transaction must be configured to
be included in threshold counts.
If a value was entered for the segment threshold minimum rejects and segment threshold percentage rejects attributes, both conditions must be met to reject the segment.
- Segment Threshold percentage rejects
- The percentage of transactions that can be rejected before the segment is also rejected. The segment is
rejected if the percentage of transactions that are rejected equals or exceeds this number. The transaction
can be rejected for any reason, such as content validation or context validation. For the rejected transaction
to contribute to the threshold count, the error code that is returned for the transaction must be configured
to be included in threshold counts.
If a value was entered for the segment threshold minimum rejects and segment threshold percentage rejects attributes, both conditions must be met to reject the segment.
- Segment Out of Balance Check
- Check whether the sum of the transaction records equals the segment trailing record total. If they do not
match, it is an error. Note: This option applies only when there are segments.
- Return Window Validation
- Checks if the incoming returned transaction is within the return window that is allowed for the return reason code.
- Message Type Validation
- Checks that the incoming message type is valid and was defined for the participant.
