Add Sending Point
The add sending point page allows the user to configure ingestion options and the create acknowledgment type. It is accessed from the partner details page for partners that are sending points. Select an existing or create a new partner with a type of sending point. Select the attributes link from the sending point related section of the page. If the sending point attributes are not currently configured, the add sending point page is displayed.
Fields
The page has the fields that are shown in the following list. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.
- ID
- The nine-digit routing number or free-form name of the partner. This field is read only and is the ID of the partner that was selected from the manage partners page.
- Type
- Indicates the type of the ID field. This field is read only and is the ID type of the partner that was selected from the manage partners page.
- Name
- Name of the sending point. This field is read only and is the name of the partner that was selected from the manage partners page.
- Transmission Type *
- Select the transmission type from the list. A transmission type must have only one batch (ICL) rule and a
transmission rule for a sending point to pass validation. The predefined transmission types for use in the
system are shown in the following list:
- ECP
- ECPD
- ECPI
- FATF
- ICL
- ICLR
- Transmission Validation Rule
- Select a transmission validation rule from the list of rules.
- Batch / ICL Rule Set
- Select a batch (ICL) rule set from the list of rule sets.
- Create Acknowledgment
- Select one of the following values:
- Yes, which sends an acknowledgment to the sending point and overrides the transmission type configuration.
- No, which does not send an acknowledgment to the sending point and overrides the transmission type configuration.
- Default, which indicates the acknowledgment configuration from the transmission type is used.
- List of rules for this sending point
- As rules are added for this sending point, they are displayed in a list on the page. Rules can be deleted from this list if necessary.
- Approval Indicator
- The ingest then pend value determines whether a manual release is required for each transmission before processing continues beyond ingestion. Allowed values are Y, N, and default (null). The default value is null, which uses the value that is configured for the transmission type.
- Max Pending Interval
- The optional maximum pending interval value that is used when APPROVAL IND is Y in this sending point transmission type. The value determines how long the transmission remains pending before it is automatically refused. Allowed values range 1 - 99 days or none (null).
Actions
The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
- Help link opens the help page. This link is located in the upper right of the page.
- Add adds the transmission type and its rules to the list of rules for the sending point.
- Delete icon removes the transmission type and associated rules from the list of rules.
- Save saves the transmission type and associated rules in the database and returns to the partner details page.
- Cancel returns to the partner details page. All unsaved changes are lost.
