Filtering

Multiple filtering options are available for alerts. You can select multiple entries, single entries, or no entries. To remove a selection, press Ctrl and click the value to be removed.

Components

The components list displays only the components that are registered in Common Services. Components are registered only when they start.

Component Types

Name Description
Engine Runtime modules that run inside the WebSphere® Application Server. Examples of these modules are shown in the following list:
  • Image Compliance
  • Payment Repair
  • AutoAdjust
User Interface (EJB) Responsible for accessing the repositories on behalf of the web-based user interface. An example is Transaction Server.
Task Tasks that are run by Services Framework.
Adapter Components that are built as resource adapters and run in WebSphere. An example is Image Compliance.
Manager Runtime modules that support the Server components. An example is Business Rules Manager.
Server Runtime modules that run outside of the WebSphere Application Server. Examples of these modules are Business Rules, Gateway, and Transaction Server.
User Interface Web-based interface used to manage applications. An example is Control Center.
Unknown Used for existing applications that were ported to the new structure.
External Used by external applications not associated with Common Services.

Text filters

You can enter text to filter the following fields:
  • Suppressed By
  • Message ID
  • Sample Message
If no text is entered for a field, the field is not used for filtering.

These fields are not case-sensitive. The percent sign (%) denotes a wildcard in the text and can be used multiple times in the same field. For example, if IZG% is entered in the Message ID field, all of the suppressed alerts with messages that start with IZG are displayed.
