dpi element

The dpi element is present when scan resolution information is available in the image. It contains an integer number of pixels per inch (dots per inch) in the image. This number is the scan resolution. The scan resolution tells how many pixels were scanned from each inch of the document when the image was created. Image Quality Analysis uses this to convert pixel counts into distance measurements.
