Activate Release page
Use the activate release page to activate the current locked release. The release name can be modified.
The fields that are available on this page are shown in the following table.

| Environment Name | No | Defaults to the currently selected environment name. |
| Release Name | Yes | The name of the release. It can be up to 80 bytes long. |
| Rules Origination | No | Defaults to the initial page. |
| State | No | The current state. |
| Effective Date | Yes | Select the date from the calendar on the right. The effective date can be updated only if the selected environment is enabled to use an effective date. Any date that is entered in this field is assumed to be after January 1, 2000. |
| Last State Updated Timestamp | No | The time stamp when the release state was last updated. |
| Last Rule Updated Timestamp | No | The time stamp when the business rules were last updated |
The last state updated time stamp and last rule updated time stamp fields show additional information when the mouse pointer is moved over them. For example, if they exist, the last updated user ID and the Business Rules table name are displayed.
