Manually running the CPCS extract task
If necessary, the CPCS extract task can be run manually. For example, the task might need to be run manually if the extract failed during a prior run.
The ID of the work in progress (WIP) record for the failing extract run must be specified when the task is
run manually. The following table shows the parameters for the CPCS extract task when it
is run manually:
| Parameter name | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| WIP ID | Yes | The ID of the work in progress record on which to do the data extract. |
| Reset the CPCS Entry IDs | No | This parameter indicates whether to reset the value of the entry number ID whenever the task
is rerun. This parameter is used only when the task is run manually. The default is true, which resets the entry number ID. You can also configure resetting the CPCS entry IDs in the task configuration. |
| Extract profile XML file path | Yes | The full file path to the extract or entry profile to use for generating the extract. This path needs to be the same as the path that was used when the task was originally used with the entry marker task. |
| Extract profile name | Yes | The profile name to use for running the extract, as specified in the extract file provided. This name needs to be the same name that was used when the task was originally used with the entry marker task. |
| Validate extract profile XML using schema | Yes | Specify a value of true to validate the extract or entry profile file against the extract or profile schema definition. |
