Manually running CIFF extracts

To manually start a CIFF extract, information about the corresponding entry must be provided to the task. The entry is identified by its entry number, business category, and business date. CIFF extract uses a pass number of 1 and a site ID of 0.

The manual task page is used to manually run a Services Framework task. To run the CIFF extract task, do the following steps.
  1. In the Control Center, go to the task configuration page.
  2. The CIFF extract task appears in the task list.
  3. Click the arrow to open the manual task page. The arrow is next to the task description.
  4. Enter the fields for the runtime parameters. The fields are shown in the following table.

    Name Description
    Entry number Entry number associated with the CIFF extract. The value must reference an existing entry in the FTM database.
    Business category Business category ID associated with the CIFF extract. The value must reference an existing business category for the chosen entry in the FTM database.
    Business date Business date associated with the CIFF extract in the format YYYYMMDD. The value must reference an existing business date in the FTM database for the chosen entry number and business category. The business date in the database must have a pass number of 1, a pocket history of 00000000, and a site ID of 0.
