Item Amount Difference Adjustment

The item amount difference (IAD) adjustment action causes the AutoAdjust engine to look for items in the batch (ICL) that have the following characteristics:
  • Have been repaired
  • Are not exceptions
  • Have not been adjusted already
  • The amount specified in the first version of the item record is different from the amount specified in the latest version of the item record
When AutoAdjust finds an item that meet this criteria, an adjustment entry is created and the AutoAdjust user exit is called to get charge back items.
Note: If the amount in the first item record contains non-numeric characters, an IAD adjustment for this item is not created.
