End of Day Processing
For end of day processing, a query is made first to determine if the component is ready for the end of the day. If all components are ready or the user forces the end of day, the process is performed. All Billing tasks are included in the end of day processing. When called, each task checks for unprocessed work. If there is none, the task responds that it is ready for end of day processing. If there is unprocessed work, the task responds that the end of day processing cannot begin. The operator has to manually process the outstanding work for the failing task.
