Comments panel
The comments panel provides a collaborative space for users to add notes, observations, and discussions related to a specific batch. This panel enables team communication, documentation of decisions, and tracking of important information throughout the batch lifecycle. This panel appears as a side panel in the batch details view, displaying a chronological feed of all comments associated with the batch.
You can access the Comments panel by selecting the Comments icon in the upper-right corner of the inbound batch details page.
Actions
The actions that are available are shown in the following list:
- Refresh reloads the comment list to display the latest updates.
- Search Bar searches comment text and author names to locate specific comments.
- Sort lets you choose whether Newer on Top or Older on Top comments appear first.
- Comment feed displays comments in a scrollable list, including author information and timestamps.
- Comment text area provides a multi-line input field for composing comments, with a maximum length of 1000 characters.
- Submit posts the entered comment to the batch.
Each comment displays the following information:
- User avatar
- A visual indicator of the comment author.
- Author's name
- The name of the user who posted the comment.
- Comment text
- The full content of the comment.
- Timestamp
- The date and time when the comment was posted.
