Groups

Groups contain users and are granted permissions. When components are added to the Control Center, they define their own component-specific groups. The Transaction Server supervisor and user groups are created during Transaction Server installation.

These groups are granted preconfigured permission assignments, which need to be reviewed for suitability before you use the groups. The following table shows more detailed descriptions for the Transaction Server groups.

Group	Description
Transaction Server Administrators	Permission to use all Transaction Server functions.
Transaction Server Supervisors	Provides a subset of the permissions available to Transaction Server administrators. No users are assigned to the group during installation. An administrator must assign users to the group as needed.
Transaction Server Users	Provides a subset of the permissions available to Transaction Server supervisors. No users are assigned to the group during installation. An administrator must assign users to the group as needed.
