Logging

The data setup utility (DSU) logs useful information when configuration data is imported, exported, deleted, and validated. The information is written to the log file and, optionally, to the console. If the DSU is configured to perform audit logging, it writes the audit data to the FTM database.

The data setup utility also writes start and stop entries to the application log. This allows the user to display when DSU operations started and stopped using the logs screen. For information about the logs screen, see Logs Screens.
