Configuring the properties files for the utility
The operations of the data setup utility (DSU) are controlled by a set of workbooks. DSU properties files are used to specify the workbooks used for each DSU operation. The properties files also contain general information the DSU needs to run.
A properties file contains information that controls the behavior of the utility for a specific DSU operation. This includes, but is not limited to, information about:
- accessing the FTM database
- the workbooks that are used for the operation
- working with Business Rules releases
- creating log and trace information
Before running the DSU, verify that the properties files being used have correct values for the properties.
