Distribution Engine

Some troubleshooting information for the Distribution engine is provided in this section.

Messages are not being processed by the Distribution engine
Messages are backing up on WebSphere MQ (the Distribution engine is processing slowly)
The Distribution engine is unable to process transactions associated to an endpoint
Transactions are associated with a valid endpoint, but the endpoint is not processed by Distribution
The transmission is automatically built and released before the assigned deadline
Transmissions are automatically built, but not released
Transactions, batches (ICLs), or both, are missing from outbound transmissions
Database deadlock received from the Distribution engine when a segment is created
Build errors occur due to non-unique file names
Global definitions are not taking effect
The Gateway does not process outbound transmissions
A transmission is stuck in the building status after a disruption
