Notification of Change (NOC) Transaction Processing

A Notification of Change (NOC) transaction, which has the SEC code COR, is generated by an RDFI when the account details for one of their partners has changed. The NOC transaction contains both the original and the new values for the account details that were changed.

One or more of the following account details can be changed by a NOC transaction:
  • account number
  • routing number
  • account name
