Create the IBM MQ queues

The scripts and files that you need to use to create the IBM MQ queues for this sample application are extracted from the FXH_Scheduled_Expectation_Sample_PI.zip file.

For more information about the names of the IBM MQ files that are provided for this sample application, see Installation files.

The following sections describe how to create the queues for each IBM MQ platform.

IBM MQ on the Windows operating system

After extraction, the files are located in the configuration subdirectory for the IBM MQ files.

To create the queues, do the following steps.
  1. If necessary, modify the values of the queue name prefixes in the ftmModelQs.properties file that is used by the script.
  2. Run the queue creation script by using the following syntax.
    ftmModelQs.cmd [Queue Manager] SCHEXPExtractedQueues.txt > log.txt

IBM MQ on UNIX

After extraction, the files are located in the configuration subdirectory for the IBM MQ files.

To create the queues, do the following steps.
  1. If necessary, modify the values of the queue name prefixes in the ftmModelQs.properties file that is used by the script.
  2. Run the queue creation script by using the following syntax.
    ftmModelQs.sh [Queue Manager] SCHEXPExtractedQueues.txt > log.txt
