Command icons

This section describes the icons that are used to perform a specific action. A command icon is displayed only if the user has the corresponding permission to perform the associated action.

Table 1. Icons that apply to a list of search results
Icon Name Purpose
Create Create Create a new item. Only configuration items can be created, not operational ones.
addToFav Add To Favorites Save the current search criteria to your favorites.
select for resolution Select for resolution Displays check boxes on the left of each row and a set of check box options along the top for you to select rows (objects) for resolution. This is only available when the search results contains objects that allow user actions to resolve alerts or other operational issues.
Export Table Export Table Export the current Search result list to a comma-separated values (CSV) file.
print table list Print Table Open an additional browser page in which the corresponding data has been formatted for printing.
show SQL Show SQL Show the Structured Query Language (SQL) query that corresponds to the current search criteria.
Pick Columns Pick Columns Choose which columns to display or hide. You can click save on the dialog box to permanently store your selected columns for the current screen.

Icon Name Purpose
print table list Print Table Open an additional browser page in which the corresponding data has been formatted for printing.
refresh Refresh Refresh the current details view.
resolve Resolve Resolve the current object. Applies only to an alert, physical transmission, fragment, batch, or transaction that is in a state for which an operator control is available.
back Back Return to the previous details view or search results. You should use this button to go back instead of the browser back button.
addToFav Add to favorites Add this details view to your favorites.
Export Table Export Table Export the current Search result list to a comma-separated values (CSV) file.
show SQL Show SQL Show the Structured Query Language (SQL) query that corresponds to the selected notebook tab.
Pick Columns Pick Columns Choose which columns to display or hide on the selected notebook tab. On saving, your selected columns will apply to all notebook pages of the same type, for example, for all "Audit Log" pages.

Create Create Create a new object. Only configuration items can be created, not operational ones.
edit Edit Edit the current item.
delete Delete Delete the current item.
refresh Refresh Refresh the current details view.
back Back Return to the previous screen. Use this button to go back instead of the browser back button.
addToFav Add to favorites Add the details view of the current item to your favorites.
Add calendar group Add calendar group Assign a calendar group to an involved party. Available only on the Calendar Groups notebook page of an involved party.
Delete calendar group Delete calendar group Delete a calendar group assignment from an involved party. Available only on the Calendar Groups notebook page of an involved party.
New schedule entry New schedule entry Create a new schedule entry. Applies only to calendar groups.
New calendar entry New calendar entry Create a new calendar entry. Applies only to calendar groups.

Configure Search Pane Configure Search Pane Customize each search page to display or hide certain criteria.
reset Reset Reset the currently displayed search criteria to their default values.
search Search Search for all objects that satisfy the specified search criteria.

Icon Name Purpose
addToFav Select All Select all list items on the current page.
Clear All Clear All Clear all check boxes for list items on the current page.
hide selected Hide Selected Hide the currently selected rows.
Hide Unselected Hide Unselected Hide the rows that are not currently selected.
Show Selected Show Selected Show the currently selected rows.
Show Unselected Show Unselected Show the rows that are not currently selected.
First First Go to the first page of the search results.
Previous Previous Go to the previous page of the search results.
Next Next Go to the next page of the search results.
Last Last Go to the last page of the search results.

Submit Submit Submit the current data.
Save Save Save the current data.
Open in New Window Open in New Window Open the current tree view in a new window. Useful for viewing large amounts of data.
Already Deleted Already Deleted Indicates that a configuration item was already deleted.
Expand Expand Open the current branch of the menu or tree view.
Collapse Collapse Close the current branch of the menu or tree view.
Expand All Expand All Display the full tree view opening all branches. In the Hierarchy page this will only expand branches that have been previously explored.
Collapse All Collapse All Close all branches leaving only the root branches visible.
