Scheduler tables

After the scheduler is created, the scheduler tables must be created for the definition to use during processing.

The definition of the Distribution scheduler (Scheduler) is set up to store the tables in the FTM database. The tables in the definition page of the scheduler can be created by using the WebSphere® Application Server administrative console.
Notes:
  1. For a network deployment, the WebSphere Application Server scheduler calendars must be installed manually.
  2. If multiple scheduler definitions exist, ensure that the tables that are created are for the Distribution scheduler. The database user ID specified in the JAAS alias must be a member of the DB2ADMNS group to create the scheduler tables.
  3. For a new WebSphere Application Server configuration or installation that is using a database with existing Distribution scheduler tables, drop the existing scheduler tables before the new ones are created.
  4. When you are using a z/OS® database, use the scheduler data definition language files that are supplied by WebSphere Application Server to manually create the scheduler tables. For more information, see IBM WebSphere Application Server for z/OS documentation.

For more information about installing scheduler calendars and creating or dropping scheduler tables, see the IBM WebSphere Application Server documentation.
