Using the system logs

When a problem occurs, open the SystemOut.log and SystemErr.log files written during execution to learn what happened. Correlate the time of the problem with the times shown in the file. Depending on what is in the logs, it may be possible to determine if a problem in the environment occurred. For example, an unavailable Transaction Server or a loss of connectivity between components.

When reporting a problem to IBM® Support, include the logs for the time the problem occurred.
