Command files

By default, the DSU is installed as part of the Payment Feature Services base component. The command files are located in the following directories:
  • Standard version: install_directory\shared\v300\pfs\DSU\importexport\cmd
  • 64-bit version: install_directory\shared\v300\pfs\DSU\importexport\cmd64
The data setup utility has command files for the following operating systems:
  • For the Windows operating system, the command files are:
    • Standard version: DSU.bat
    • 64-bit version: DSU64.bat
  • For AIX® or Linux®, the command files are:
    • Standard version: DSU.sh
    • 64-bit version: DSU64.sh

DSU 64-bit version

The standard version of the DSU works with most configuration data workbooks. The 64-bit version of the DSU is required when the size of the configuration data workbook is very large. Out of memory errors may occur when working with very large configuration data workbooks. If out of memory errors occur, use the 64-bit version of the DSU to import the data from the spreadsheets.

Note:
  • The 64-bit DSU also provides a 64-bit Java™ Runtime Environment (JRE).
  • To use this version of the DSU, the operating system on the computer must support running 64-bit applications.

PATH system variable

To be able to run the DSU from a command prompt in any directory, add the directory for the DSU to the PATH system variable. If the DSU directory is not added to the system path, the complete path and command file name must be used to run the utility.
