Navigating and managing VMControl resources

You can use the VMControl summary page to view virtual resources and their status; you can also access common tasks. Additionally, VMControl provides several views for accessing and working with your resources.

Using the VMControl summary page
You can view a summary of the resources managed by VMControl and the status of those virtual resources. You can also access common management tasks for managing your virtual resources. Information about this summary page is refreshed automatically when there are any changes.
Viewing resources in the Virtual Servers and Hosts view
You can use the Virtual Servers and Hosts view to see a variety of information about your virtual servers and hosts, such as status, IP address, and description. You can also view CPU utilization for the host or virtual server, as well as the number of processors and amount of memory that is allocated to your virtual servers or hosts.
Viewing virtualization properties
In addition to viewing the properties listed on the main properties view for a selected resource, you can see additional properties that are specific to virtual resources.
Viewing monitors
Use the Monitors task to monitor critical system functions on your managed resources. This topic describes the monitor views that ship with VMControl.
