Configuring the notification on the device

Use the trap listener SNMPv3 user to receive SNMPv3 notifications.

About this task

Note: When IBM® Flex System Manager runs on a Windows system, make sure that the SNMP service and the SNMP trap service are disabled. IBM Flex System Manager running on a Windows system is not an SNMP device and therefore the SNMP service must be disabled.
