Use the lslicense command to display current license settings for system features.

(Optional) Specify a delimiter to separate data in the output.
-nohdr
(Optional) Suppress the headings in the output.

Description

The lslicense command displays license settings for system features, including virtualization settings.

Use the chlicense command to change the feature license settings. Because the feature license settings are entered when the system is first created, you must update the settings if you change your license.

This table provides the possible values that are applicable to the attributes that are displayed as data in the output views.

used_flash Indicates the amount of capacity used with FlashCopy®.
used_remote Indicates the amount of capacity used with replication features such as policy-based replication.
used_virtualization Indicates the amount of capacity used for virtualization.
license_flash Indicates the amount of capacity licensed for FlashCopy features.
license_remote Indicates the amount of capacity licensed for replication features.
license_virtualization Indicates the amount of capacity licensed for virtualization settings.
license_physical_disks Indicates the amount of physical disk space available for the license.
license_physical_flash Indicates whether the license's physical flash is on or off.
license_easy_tier Indicates which enclosures Easy Tier® can be run on.
license_virtualization Indicates the external virtualization settings. The value must be an integer that indicates the number of enclosures.
used_encryption Indicates how much encryption is being used. The values are on if it is enabled and off if it is not enabled.
license_encryption Indicates whether encryption is allowed or not. The values are on if it is allowed and off if it is not allowed.
scu_ratio_scm Indicates the storage capacity unit (SCU) ratio for SCM tier storage. The value must be a number with two decimal places.
used_virtualization_tier_scm Indicates the amount of capacity used for virtualization on tier_scm storage. The value must be zero on platforms where virtualization is not licensed as per SCU.
used_virtualization_tier_flash Indicates the amount of capacity used for virtualization on tier0_flash and tier1_flash storage. The value must be zero on platforms where virtualization is not licensed as per SCU.
used_virtualization_tier_enterprise Indicates the amount of capacity used for virtualization on tier_enterprise storage. The value must be zero on platforms where virtualization is not licensed as per SCU.
used_virtualization_tier_nearline Indicates the amount of capacity used for virtualization on tier_nearline storage. The value must be zero on platforms where virtualization is not licensed as per SCU.
